Phone PC Remote – Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy explains how the Phone PC Remote Android app (package dev.phonepcremote.app) and its Windows and Ubuntu companion apps handle your information. Phone PC Remote is developed by Ivan Nikolenko (“we”, “us”).

Summary

Information that stays on your devices

Permissions

Purchases (Pro)

Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. To confirm a purchase, the app sends the Google Play purchase token to our verification service, which checks it with Google and returns whether Pro is active. The token is used only for this check and is not used to identify you, stored for other purposes or shared. Google’s handling of purchases is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Smart TVs

When you control an LG, Samsung or Google TV / Android TV set, commands are sent directly from your phone to the TV on your local network. Pairing keys for the TV are stored on your phone.

Children

Phone PC Remote is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Connections between your phone and your computer use TLS encryption with QR-code pairing, and unpaired devices cannot send input to your computer. Sensitive data on the phone is kept in Android encrypted storage.

Your choices

You can remove paired devices, clear clipboard history, and delete all app data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in Android settings. Because we do not keep personal data on our servers, there is no account data to delete.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
